exaxtly 1 year ago today. what coincidence.
good vid bro
pork chops came out stringy and tough, why is that ?
I do this with white wine and cheap brandy only with some garlic, it comes perfect
When do you add the flour and parsley?
When do you add the tablespoon of flour and the parsley?
Very nice looks yummy good to see you dance the happy dance. And the chops look nice and tender. Glad to see you making so much progress looking good and love cowboy hat. We need more cooking videos remember all of us out here don't have the experience you have and I love learning how to do your great receipt's. Keep up the great videos and be happy happy happy..hi to your helper chef Rufus..
It's not pork chops WITH 'smothered' onions! It's smothered with onions!
You forgot to add seasoning
deliious
I just ordered one I do not make big meals it is only me how do you know how long like 5 chicken legs with broccoli. Or pork chops and squash or a pre cooked turkey thigh
Thank you for this upload . it's refreshing to have someone explain things clearly. Some vids you cant even see the dials on the pressure cooker ! This chap really knows what he's talking about. Thanks again.
White wine and lemon not listed in the ingredients. I wish there was a printed version of the recipe
Why not adding butter before cooking?
2 pork chops at a time is best depending the size of the pressure cooker and pork chops.
Did i miss something? does he ever say how much white wine to put in? or 'a little bit'
The sauce tastes like lime juice and seasoned milk. Maybe if you leave out the lime and replace the white wine with chicken broth? I ended up tossing the onions/sauce, washing off the chops, and making Asian stir fry instead. Plus side: the chops were tender.
The recipe and what he puts in is not the same. Recipe says lime juice he puts or says lemon juice. Recipe calls for flour and butter. He didn’t put either of them in
When I do this I get a burn sign on my pressure cooker what am I doing wrong? Thank you
WHERES THE RECIPES ON LINE I CAN T FIND THEM
*Love, Love, LOVE IT!>>>**ur2.pl/1035** That is all that needs to be said! The answer is YES, if your question is..should I buy this!?!?!*
Smothered means a rich brown gravy, not a runny yellow sauce with a lump of unmelted butter in it. Also, the pork chops should have been dredged in seasoned flour and evenly browned.
I know it is a pressure cooker but because you showed searing and browning; I can't thank you enough!
can U cook a meal in one Like meat, potatoes, and vegetables[email protected]
Why doesn't the lemon juice curdle the milk? I put lemon in tea with milk once and had a curdled mess.
Can you do this recipe with Pork Steaks instead of Pork Chops
My brother gave me his Power Cooker PC-WAL1 and I love it. I would like to start canning jars but I don't see a video with step by step instructions. The online manual isn't very instructive. HELP PLEASE.
Cheap POS device. If you want a pressure cooker, buy a real one.
So glad that i read your comments before making this. I had everything measured and out but could not figure out the measurement for the wine. Dude.YOU FORGOT THE WINE in the list of ingredients. Didn't matter though once everyone said that they gravy was awful. I kept everything but got rid of the lime juice and the wine and just did chicken broth. It is now in my Breville Fast Slow Pro and I am patiently waiting.
Does the bone break-down and get brittle? We just did some porkchops in the crockpot, and the bone really broke down and mixed in with the meat. When we put sauce on top, we kept hitting bone chips as we ate. Did that happen with this? We should have used boneless PCs maybe. Thoughts? has that happened to you before? Thanks. Love your videos.

Here’s basically what you do to make pork chops in your pressure cooker.
- Browning the outsides a bit on saute is a great way to start
- You can whisk the tomato paste and water together & dump in, or just mix them together in the pot
- Use broth instead of water if you wish, adds a bit more flavor (it just depends what I have on hand at the time)
- If you don’t like mushrooms you can omit them
- After the pork chops are cooked it is easy to make a creamy broth out of the juices left in the pot, on saute mode
This recipe incorporates a simple yet creamy sauce to cook them in so not only do they come out tender because they’re cooked under pressure but the sauce gives it an added yumminess. 😉
Looks yummy and tender right??

You throw everything into your Instant Pot. You set it for 5 minutes, and walk away. Come back to a family-friendly dinner.
Really. It’s that simple
Comfort food that the whole family will love, with very little work, and if you’re feeding only yourself, great meal prep and freezer food.
Instant Pot Pork Chops and Rice with Vegetables
My kids love my plain pork chops with rice and they’ve always wanted to eat it plain.
But I’m a sneaky mom and when they were little, I’d add vegetables to it because that’s what Moms do.
Although my older one, Mark, was great with veggies, the younger one, Alex, needs them sneaked into him.
Sure he’d pick around the veggies, but I hoped he’d miss one every once in a while and hey presto! Veggies snuck into an unsuspecting kid!
The good news is that you can use whatever veggies will go over well in your household.
For this batch, I used julienned carrots, and frozen mixed vegetables. As long as you use vegetables that are not super starchy (like potatoes!) you can use whatever other frozen vegetables you have.
The reason NOT to use potatoes or other super starchy things, is that those vegetables ABSORB water to help the starch cook. You will likely not have enough water if you did that.
How To Make Pork Chops and Rice in your Instant Pot Pressure Cooker
- For this recipe, add oil, onions, rice, salt and pepper into the Instant Pot. You do not need to sauté anything. Yup, you read that right. The pressure cooker will take care of all the cooking for you.
2. Place pork chops on top of the rice. Pour in water and push down the rice to ensure it’s covered by the water.
3. Add whatever vegetables you intended to use. DO NOT STIR. You want these vegetables on top so that they won’t overcook.
4. Set the Instant Pot or electric pressure cooker to 5 minutes. At the end of the cook time, let it rest undisturbed for 10 minutes. This is important cook time for the ingredients, so do not rush it.
5. Ready to serve! The pork chops will be well-cooked. The rice will be soft and therefore well loved by kids and grown ups alike.
